Free
Range on Pristine New Zealand Pastures
Dunedin grass-fed cattle are raised on some of the lushest, most
beautiful pastures in the world. The pure New Zealand countryside
is home to pure cattle: New Zealand has never had a case of Mad
Cow or Foot and Mouth disease.
No
Added Hormones or Antibiotics.
Dunedin cattle are never given growth stimulants or sub-therapeutic
antibiotics.
Natural,
Vegetarian Diet
Dunedin grass-fed cattle eat nothing but pasture grasses, hay
and a small amount of non-GMO barley. They are never fed animal
byproducts.
Full-flavor
from a Grass Diet…
A grass diet lends a robust flavor to the meat. Corn-fed beef,
on the other hand, gets its flavor from large amounts of fat,
gained during an intense fattening period. Grass-fed beef
tastes more like real beef and less like fat.

…Top
15% Marbling Selection
Only the top 15% of beef, in terms of marbling, is marketed
as Dunedin Grass-fed Beef. This fact gives Dunedin grass-fed
beef a tremendous competitive advantage…Full-flavored
meat, with beautiful marbling!

Traceability
Dunedin grass-fed beef can be traced from pasture to plate.
Environmentally
Sustainable
Grass-fed beef ranching is a closed loop system. The cattle eat
the grass…and their waste fertilizes the grass. The cattle
are fed a small barley ration in the winter time, which is locally
grown. Furthermore, the New Zealand ranchers limit their environmental
impact by closely managing their herds and pastures. |
